A guaranteed coupon means your money does not reach the seller straight away: it is held until you confirm you received the coupon, and only then released.
01 — Top up your wallet
Purchases are made from your wallet on the site, not with a card directly. Top up the amount first from the wallet page.
02 — Pick the coupon
Open the coupon page and read the price, brand, and remaining time before you buy. The coupon page tells you plainly when buying is closed and why.
03 — Buy
The amount is debited from your wallet and credited to the seller's wallet at the same moment — and held there. The seller sees it under "held balance" and cannot withdraw it.
04 — Get your redemption code
Every order carries its own code, shown in My orders. That code is the coupon itself — use it with the seller.
05 — Confirm you received it
Once you are sure the coupon works, press "Confirm receipt" in My orders. Only then is the hold lifted and the seller can withdraw.
06 — Automatic release
If you never press it, the amount is released to the seller on its own 7 days after the purchase. Without that window the money would stay held forever whenever a buyer forgets to confirm.
07 — If something goes wrong
Before the release happens you can open a dispute from My orders, and the hold stays frozen until the Harajcom team settles it. See the “Dispute cases” page in the guide.
Things worth knowing
- Confirmation is final. Once you press "Confirm receipt" you can no longer open a dispute on that order.
- One currency. Your wallet currency must match the coupon currency — there is no conversion at purchase time, because exchange rates move and the amount debited has to be the amount the seller receives.
- You cannot buy your own coupon.
- Available balance is your balance minus anything already held, and that is what the purchase is measured against.
